firefox wont work online on my iMac Closed

Hello, I run firefox on my i Mac but after my friend used my computer it keeps coming up that its in off line mode and i cant work out how to put it to online mode i uninstalled and re installed it but that has made no difference can you help please .

you may have to remove the preferences for Fire fox in you "user" - " library " then relaunch the program

Select the pull down menu from the top called File, and near the bottom you will see the option "Work Offline". Un-check this and you should be back in business
