Dell 1525 CD/DVD driver won't work

Hello,

my cd/dvd driver wont run - tried re-installing but get the message 'Driver software not successfully installed'. It used to work but now won't. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have some photo cds ,were made on another computer
tried inserting them in my new Dell computer ,they just pop out again.
Studio Hybrid model 140g. Thank You

uninstall the drivers an when windows reboots it will look re install them automatically.

Hello,

Try Sstem Restore to the more recent point where ur driver was working. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/

can I use different models of a dvd player to play dvd's on a dell inspiron 1525 computer ?
