To share the internet you will need two network cards in the computer that is directly connected to broadband. If you are using a dial-up connection to the internet then you will only need one network card. You will need a "cross-over" cable to connect the two computers. If you use a switch between the computers then you can use standard cables. Google "cross-over cable" to find the wire colors.
