Hello,

A while back, security threat was issued for Windows 2003 Server. Apparently it was possible to gain remote control of a computer or domain,....how can you tell if the Server was affected? Can hackers be sophisiscated enough that remoye access can not be detected?

Thank you for any information!

Hi,

some hackers with only your Ip adress can access your computer server and hack your system.

There are some programs that enables remote pc from distance..

if you are connected to internet you are at risk to be hack or someone access your computer.

Thank you for some information. Is it possible to examine the server and determine if any remote access was made to my system. It looks to me like maybe one of the workstations was taken over at some point. How would I know or be able to verify that a remote access was made over a direct access??

Thanks so much for your time and info!!

Certain trojans you open may contain a server. Once they have your IP adress, they'll be able to connect to a client. These are know as Remote Administrative Tools or RATs.

Be on the look out for whatever ".exe" file you recieve, they may contain a server or be binded with one (5000kb).
