Foxconn screen comes up and then freezes

Hello,
when I start up the computer the foxconn screen comes up and then freezes, so I cant even get to the start menue,,can you tell me why this is hppening and what I need to do,, thaking you barb

Hello,

Try this 1

If the motherboard brand name appears and freezes for a while then may be

its having some problem in detecting one of your device in your computer.

Open your CPU cabinet, remove the devices ( like hard disk, CD\DVD drive

etc) connections from the motherboard and then switch ON your computer. If

the screen passes the motherboard brand name then switch off your computer

then try connecting each devices and then switching ON your computer.

Check all the connections.

If the problem still exists then reset your BIOS.
