My laptop blue screen

hi,
I was on YouTube on my laptop and then is suddenly went to a blue screen so I unplugged the battery And then plugged it back in about two minutes after it happened as I didn't know what it was and now my laptop won't turn on whenever I try to turn it on it gives me the option to start up normally or a recovery system which neither work I've left my laptop on for 7 hours trying to get it to work on both the recovery system and regular but the furthest I get is a black screen with a cursor I can move and it dosnt even get to the login page and I really want it to work again I don't care if I lose my data

Further to djsmurf question, what is the 10 caracter error code, beginng with 0x that you have on the blue screen? That would be a most helpful info to diagnose the problem.
