Linking a computer to the internet

Hello, my current set-up is a windows 7 with a wireless connection to the internet, next to it is a Windows Xp with a Ethernet connection to the Windows 7 for file share. Using this set up could I get internet access with the Xp and how would I do that?

You can use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on the Win 7 PC.

Go to "Help and Support" and search for "internet sharing" you then get instructions. You might need the Win 7 DVD to copy needed files and a flash drive to transfer the needed programs to the XP PC.

You will need a special "crossover" Ethernet cable to connect the two PCs.

hey u could do what they told u i'm sure it'll work but my other advice from me to u..
is just buy urseld a switch..connect ur pcs to it..and the internet from the router if u have a dsl...and u'll have a network instantly..and set ur ip config to obtain automatically..it should work this way!
if any probs occurred just post here again and i'll try to answer u
and it'd be better if u described the int connection u have..whether it was dsl or dial up modem etc..cz there's a difference!
