Help mp4 not showing up on laptop windows med

Hello, i'm really rubbish with computers so dummy terms are fine with me lol i have an mp4 player have used it on my pc fine which is windows xp but for some reason when i plug it into my laptop it wont show up on windows media player trying to put some music onto it would really appreciate some advice x

If you go into My Computer, does it show up there as a Removable Disc? If so, double click to explore it, try and find a folder called Music or something similar. You should be able to simply drag and drop your Music files over into there. If you're unsure, take some screenshots and upload them to Flickr or somewhere and posts links here for us to take a look at.
