Sayeed

Go to your control panel and open regional options. Click on the language tab and select the proper language as it might say French.

Dear Ambucias
Thanks for your help. I have tried your suggestion. It was not set to Canadian key board or french. However I have removed the canadian keyboard altogether.

Since the problem didnt happen always- I dont have a way to check if it worked. I will see for a few days to note if the problem returns.
Whatever the result is, I want to thank you for your effort.
Take care

Hello Sayeed,

Thanks for you feedback!

I have a Canadian Keyboard and I often write in French. Yesterday, I lost all of my accents as if the keyboard had changed to a Bangladesh keyboard.

I rebooted and everything came back to normal. If it happens to you again, try rebooting first.

Regards
