Headphone jack working but no speaker doesnot

Hello,
i have a HP pavilion dv1000 laptop with windows 7 installed.
I installed all the drivers and working well.

Sound driver installed.
Iam hearing the sound from the headphone.

but there seems no sound in the speaker.

I play a song and listened in headphone. when i try to pull out the speaker sounds a second and then it stops.

If any help ...appreciated...
