How to get acer onboard mouse to work

Hello,
we have an acer 5600 laptop, the power adapter got loose so soldered it, that fixed it and it powers up now. but when got everything put back, the onboard mouse will not work, took it apart again and found the little ribbon was unplugged plugged it in and still no mouse,

also, the color turned all sicadellic looks like something from the 70's and kids are not impressed with the sicadellic colors on thier screen lol
can someone please help with these two problems

Bambie,

obviously you've tampered with the hardware in the laptop.

chances are you've damaged the ribbon/keyboard/motherboard.

you could try purchasing a new keyboard for your laptop but it might be difficult to get a hold of.

as for the colour - have you been pratting with the monitor/ribbon?

Sounds like you've made a right mess.

all i can advise is you double check the cables again. if you've caused more permanent damage then the jokes on you.

i advise you see if your laptop is under warranty, if it isnt then either an external monitor/mouse or purchase another laptop.
