Explorer 9 or Magic Jack ??

Hello,
I have the Magic Jack on my XP computer, and it works fine. Some time ago last fall the Magic Jack lit up with a Red Box and said" Not to Download - Internet Explorer 9- otherwise, it would do harm to it. I have Internet Explorer 8 with No Problems.
Is Internet Explorer 9 compatible with the Magic Jack.??? The Magic Jack is great for Long Distance Calling since I live in a Rural area.
Please Help.

IE 9 is not compatible with Windows XP.
