Cannot see my pictures, desktop icons/bckgnd
Closed
Hello,
Im writing because for the past few days I have had a possible virus and I just dont know what to do to fix it. Im fairly sure its gone, but im having one problem. None of my pictures work.
All the pictures ive saved in "my pictures" are gone along with music and so on. Also, certain desktop icons are hidden such as wordpad ect. I can still access them though by looking at recently used area. My desktop background does not work other then plain black color. and when I try to change it to a background from online it will not load. Lastly my quick launch bar at the bottom is missing and I even hid it and unhid it and it still does not appear. It just moves any windows over as if it was there. Im not sure what else to do. Please help?

Greetings,
Follow this simple instruction.
Just hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete then kill the explorer.exe process then run explorer.exe again as a new task.
