Windows disabling bios

hi, i have windows xp sp2
since its very old now i want to upgrade my computer so i downloaded windows xp sp3 corporate student edition and wanted to install it but while installing a problem arose that a blue screen comes up saying something like disable bios memory such as shadowing
dumping memory started things like that
so please anybody help me i want to remove this problem and want to install it
please help me

Hello,

Try this 1

When you start your computer, a message will be displayed at the bottom

indicating the key that is required to be pressed to go to BIOS.

Example: SETUP=DEL

Then you have to press that specified key when you switch ON your computer to

go to BIOS.

Go to BIOS --> Select the option "Advanced" --> Look for the options like

"Shadowing" and "RAM Cacheable" --> Disable those two options --> Save the

settings and exit from BIOS.

[Note: At the bottom or at the right-side you can find all the instructions regarding

the keys that can be used to make necessary changes in BIOS]
