My internet network is connected but i cannot connect to the internet Closed

Question

Hello, 

I have an strong wireless connection to my network, but when I try to open my internet explorer it say I have no internet connection. I did everything I can and does not work. does anybody have any idea what could be wrong with my computer because my roommate computer in connecting to the same network and working fine.

I have  a Sony VAIO.

Hi, 

Please verify if your network and wireless driver are installed on the device manager.

1-Click on Start-> Run, and then type devmgmt.msc 

2-The Device Manager window will appear. 

3-Go to Network adapters, expand it and verify if there is no yellow mark there.
