If u hv Win XP than open START>Program>Accessories<accessibility<On Screen Key Board
Now try that on Screen Key Board's tab key,letter A and number 1 keys working or not if they r working fine than this is ur keyboard's problem & Dell's Service will help u out & if On screen key board's key also not working thn here any professional can help u out :)
