Sony intel n270 monitor problem

am mike.l hav sony vaio notebook CPU:Intel N270-1.6G . with windows 7 os . l added monitor drivers to my laptop monitor drivers and after l restarted the computer my screen cant light up again even though the computer keeps wrking but the screen dont display wuts cud be the cause can you help me
