Acer Aspire one won't start Closed

Question

Hello, 

I have old aspire one, ZG5. Kids were playing - without power supply. Battery dried up and now it won't start.
I tried updating BIOS which is at ver 3114 (highest available). But still no avail.

I turn it on - it passes Acer banner and after that power stays green, screen black and battery LED Amber.

does any one have idea please?

Hi,

Try this

Remove the USB cable.

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60

seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later

put the battery back into the laptop.
