New motherboard did not display

Hello,
i buy nem motherboard and install it into my old casing cpu atx, i install everything well to the motherboard but it did not display on monitor, i on it witougt memory card but i dont get any soud to let me knw if d memory card is not insert. Pls hlp me

I would first check all the power connections. Then I would test with a different power supply. Another thing is to check the at motherboard is not shorting out by touching the case or the old MB stand-off posts.
