Problem in installing OS

Hello,
my name is kaustubh mishra,
my problem is..

my dvd reader drive suddenly stopped working, i cant repair it for now, i have windows vista installed on my pc and i want to install windows xp.. vista blocks any previous versions if i try to run d setup (its on my hard drive too) how can i install it? can i install it using LAN connection? how if so? plz help.. thank you....

Hi,

You can install windows xp through a bootable pendrive.

First you must insert your pendrive and set it as your first device at the boot priority in the BIOS.

Once done, you must make your pendrive bootable. Here are the ways to do it:
