Automatically detect settings on ie8

Hello,
anytime i try to open web page a message is displayed "internet explorer can not display the page." so i have to set the Automatically detect settings and uncheck the Proxy server configuration everytime i access a web page.How can i make the Automatically detect settings as my default so i do not go back and forth to reset.? please somebody help me out
