Please help! I just bought a Western digital hard drive its 2TB. I have a mac book pro and when l open the hard drive on my computer it shows whats on it but doesn't let you put anything on it or get anything off it. It works on windows computers but not on my mac? Comes up with a circle and a line through it.
I may be hopeless with computers but can someone help me put stuff off my mac onto the hard drive?
THANKYOU!

Go to your instructions or the Western Digital web site.

Windows and Mac use incompatible hard disk systems. You will need to reformat the disk for the Mac. Then it will not be readable by Windows PCs.

You can format the drive with multiple partitions and format one (small ) partition with FAT32. Fat32 can be read by both Mac and PC.

Good Luck
