The hp keyboard has stopped working suddenly

Hello,

i have cleaned the keyboard while the computer is turned off and when i turned it on the keyboard didn't worked and if i told mu parents that they will get mad beside i can't buy new keyboard because i still 14 and my laptop is hp pavilion dv3 with a touch screen so what shall i do ?
