Mouse pad & keyboard not working Closed

Hello all

I have campaq presario CQ 60-405 EI, about three months ago installed windows 7, up until this point have never had a problem my laptop, which is going on 3 yrs old now. Now two weeks ago my mouse pad and key just stopped working. Have no idea why and very frustrating trying to figure it out! I even tried to reinstall windows 7, but no luck and feel like pulling my hair out now! 

Any thoughts, suggestions, help or assistance... Well at this point will be greatly appreacited!

youneed to install the motherboard chip set and after reboot ,also try to go to deivce manger and delet mouse,and keybord,and restart it should be on ,and if it did not work try to  go to bios and loade the default.

Hi,

Thanks, wr have already tried that. What seems to happen is that the keyboard works for a little while an then, well just stops. I am joy even able to type out 2 lines in a word doc. The mouse pad however just doesn't work at all?!
