There are a few options you have; first and foremost, you will want to check all audio inputs (which most of the time isnt helpful to these problems)
You can go to your computers manufactor's website and look for the audio drivers under a "download" section that are suitable for your computer (you may have to put in your computers serial information to find a download specificly for that cumputer).
You can also buy a sound card that should fix the problem if an audio driver download doesnt work.
I have to same problems with my computers and i know that it is rare if you can fix this issue without internet use.
It is also a bad idea to do a Factory Recovery to fix the sound because you could have nothing left, and it doesnt garuntee that the sound would be fixed
