HOW TO UPGRADE MY SYSTEM

Hello,
am using,
P4
Intel D845 GEBV2
2.4 Ghz
40 GB Hard Disc
256 MB Ram.
CD Writer.
IBM 17" CRT Monitor.

I plan to upgrade RAM and Hard Disc for my Computer. I plan to go for 1GB RAM and 80 GB Hard disc.
Iam not sure wheather my board supports it. Please tell me can i go for it, or give me a solutions. and also i would like to know the maximum capacity of the ram & HDD suits the board.

so u can upgrade ur pc u can up ram of 1 gb and hard drive also u can up to 120 or higher 250
ok but only ide drive bcz ur system not support sata drive.ok if u wana more details u can mail me or chat my email address

sir i have a problem during installation of win 2000. after running the setup a few minutes the msg appears that
the set will not be continued check that the hdd connected to the computer. set up not find any hdd disk on your computer. but there is the hdd is connected to the computer.
