Mkv file to imation 16G flashdrive

Hello,

i did exactly that - format the flashdrive to NTFS - but when i inserted it back to mac to copy the mkv file, it won't let me...mac doesn't seem to let me write onto the NTFS flashdrive....what should i do? i desperately need to transfer these mkv files to my flashdrive...that's the reason why i got this 16G imation...but how?
