Computer does not boot Closed

Question

Hello, 
I 've had my compter a couple years. Lately it started shutting off randomly. I ran some diagnostic test, an it seemed as though the problem was fixed until one day it shut down and i have'nt been able to boot up since. I notice when i push on the power button, the cpu fan comes on,and the power supply fan comes on but the light to the power button does not come on. I noticed that when that light comes on, the computer starts booting up.
 but it hasn't done that since.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0
