How do u reduce size of icons and text on xp Solved/Closed

Hello, 
how do I reduce the size of icons and text on windows xp it was fine until my daughter who says she hasn't touched anything went on there, now everything is so big you cannot read the screen. Help!!


Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

I assume she changed the screen resolution.  To fix do the following:
1. right click on an empty area of the desktop screen
2.select "properties"
3. click on settings
4. drag the "screen resolution" slider to the far right
5. click on apply
6. click "yes" on the "do you want to keep these settings" screen
