I assume she changed the screen resolution. To fix do the following:
1. right click on an empty area of the desktop screen
2.select "properties"
3. click on settings
4. drag the "screen resolution" slider to the far right
5. click on apply
6. click "yes" on the "do you want to keep these settings" screen
