Hello,

I'm using a Toshiba L100, my problem is my keyboard output. This is the 2nd time i replaced the keyboard and the problem is still the same. When you press w what comes out is ws, e re, r re, t th, y uy, i oi, o oi, backspace =3, s ws, h th, the semicolon ; becomes '; the comma '; all the rest z x c v b n m a w q d f g t j k l are all ok now i'm using a USB keyboard together with my laptop keyboard. My OS is win7, i tried to boot on xp but the problem is the same.

any idea please ?

Thanks,

Dave

If the external keyboard works OK then the problem probably is not software related. That model is 5 or 6 years old and replacing the keyboard every 2 to 3 years can be a problem with some laptops.

Good Luck
