Hi i just tried this for first time and it worked great..
So i have modem/router combined in living room (router A) want to make connect to secundair router B to use wifi on it.
(Working perfectly without Bottlenecks on my 120MBt internet 5pc connected)
Router A let the DHCP Server setting ON ,
and from LAN port (1/2/3/4) connect to Router B on also LAN (1/2/3/4) port in ,
so i DONT use WAN port of Router B , so u changing Router to Bridge mode easly.
entered Router B menu , en disabled DHCP Server .
En voila .
Now when u connect on router B , it will automaticly give IP from your 1st Router (A).
Simpy Router on Router mode cant work. Only if u use secundair router as a BRidge mode.
