Share file with 2 computer by router

Hello,
I have a D-link router before and link 2 computer to share files. I assign one drive in Computer 1 with a fix IP address and let the Computer 2 to access.
I have now change to a new Netgear DGN1000 router since the D-link is broken. Now I cannot access the computer 1 drive from computer 2.
Is it any setting I need to do on the router or computer 1.
Please help.

Hello,
Try this 1
Click on Start --> Run --> Type cmd and press Enter. "Command Prompt" will be opened.
Enter the command ping <your other computer IP> and press Enter.
Check if you are able to reply from the other computer.
