Black screen. Closed

Question

Hello, 
  I need some help and some answers. I have an acer aspire one laptop. I went to go turn it on and the screen is blck. All my lights come on in the front,but i have notthing on the screen. I don't know a whole about computers. Could someone please help me with this. I don't want to have to take it to a repair shop and get it fix because i don't have the money to do this. thanks for reading and hope to hear from someone soon.


Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hi,

Remove battery and hold down power button for 30 to 60 Seconds then fix battery back followed by power adapter and power on.
