ACER support site provides drivers only for windows 7

it had linpus lite installed...linux based..
tried installing windows 7..got this error
windows could not collect information for OSI image since the specified image file (install.wim)
so i installed XP

Usually this error occurs
due to corrupted OS image or bad cd/dvd drive
I want you to download a new copy ISO image and write it a lower speed(4x,do not forget to verify it)
and then try installing windows 7
If that doesnt work,use a different CD/DVD drive and see if that works.
