Hello,

Hit, I'm having an issue with my Dell 810. When I attach my Dell Inspiron 1600 to our new digital t.v. monitor it ran with some adjustments but crashed a lot during shows. We are now trying to use a Dell 810 Latitude that is newer. We get the desktop to show up on the monitor screen but it has no icons. The size is correct for the desktop picture displaying but there are no clickable/usable icons on the monitor we can use to get to IE/orFirefox. Advice please.

THanks

This sounds like you have an "extended desktop" where you want to "clone" the desktop to the external monitor.

Go to "control panel" and find the Intel GMA Driver icon. Dbl click on it after connecting the external monitor. You can select the primary/secondary monitor and extended or clone mode.

Good Luck
