I cannot open my USB device

Hello,

I am having a problem regarding my pc. When I am about to open my files in my removable disk, it says "the disk in drive G is not reformatted. do you want to format it now?". I am hesitant to format my usb since it will delete my files. How can I open my file? help me pls! thanks!

You could have tried this

Go to run and type

devmgmt.msc and click ok


Right click on the Flashdrive-Change the assigned letter to a different one
