Itouch 4th generation screen is white

Hello,
My itouch 4 generation screen is white . & NO its not the white screen of death . last night i got a notification , & my screen was fine , then i opened up the lock screen again to see it , but my screens left side was completely white . my screen is completely white on the left side , & it fades away onto the right side of my screen , & also it functions correctly i just cant see squat. Ive tried all the WSOD resets nothing works , please help .
oh and i just got my itouch back i was grounded , & i think that my mom might have hid it in like the bathroom or something (dont ask me why) . i think this because when i got it back the screen was slippery . so the moisture might have affected it ? she had it for 3 weeks.
