How to repair pen drive?

Hello,

mine is transcend 4GB pen drive..wen i connect to the system, the light blinks but the drive is not detected.. how can we repair dat? plz suggest

Hello,

Check first if your penrive is detected by your BIOS.

If it is the case, try this:

Click on Start --> Run ---> type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK.

Right-click on your Penrive --> Select "Change Drive Letter and Paths..." --->

Click on "Add" button ---> Select a drive letter different of C: and click on OK.

Note : If the drive letter is already assigned, then try changing the drive letter

by clicking on "Change" button instead of "Add" button in the above step.

You probably have a counterfeit drive that does not have the storage. There is nothing you can do. Only buy flash drives from a trusted source never from a street vendor.
