Lose internet, still connected to router
Closed
Hello, so I would have to call this problem intermittent, but definitely frustrating. Frequently, but at random intervals, I will lose connection to the internet. I will still be connected to the router, and disconnecting and reconnecting my wireless card from it will immediately solve this problem. That is, until it it happens again, an hour later. Or five minutes. I know there is no problem with the internet connection, as I will be streaming netflix from an xbox with a wired connection to the same router when this problem occurs.
One possibility I have read is that other wireless networks nearby (I do live in a small apartment complex) are interfering with mine somehow.
On windows 7 ultimate 64 bit using google chrome, avg
