Problem in receiving same mail on 2 systems

Hello, i have created a outlook account on ms 2007 in two systems where both the systems ll receive same mails sent from outside. but the problem is one system is able to receive the mails and the other is not able to receive but can send mails. so please help

Hi Prakash,

The reason why the second system is not receiving the same mail is that as soon as one system has downloaded the mail, it is deleted from the pop server and no longer exists. Hence the mail must be transfered to the second system and then be downloaded by the second system, before the first one downloads transfered mail.

A solution is to configure Outlook to leave a copy of the mail on the pop (incoming) server. However, you may come to find this very annoying has everytime you click on send/receive, all the mails on the server will download again, even if there are weeks old.

If you receive lots of mails and that they are left on the server, you may come to reach the maximum capacity of your server inbox and mails sent to you will be rejected.
