Compaq v3702au media device

Hello, dis is abhijeet and i have installed windows xp in my v3702au. Earlier i had installed xp but den my engg had added conexant audio device..but my laptop had sum problem so yeterday i again installed xp n now wen i am installing dat conexant device driver it asks for media device. The moment i install sound drivers it asks for sound device n wen i install Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture driver n den i installed sound driver and still it asks for sound device.i hav uninstalled n reinstalled but nothin is workin pls help.
