Sony vaio - error in recovery please

Hello,

please can u help me with my problem.
i have pressed F10 to get to the recovery part but then it freezes.
is this typical?
how long would the recovery process take?

Hi,

It takes about 1h30 to 2hrs for completion of recovery process.Your recovery partition may be deleted,corrupted ,modified or deleted which is making it to freeze.If you have the recovery cd then boot from it one by one and let it process.
