Hello,

Please help....my laptop was attacked by a Trojan virsus and I lost all my documents. Is there any way I can retrieve the documents? I believe it may still be in my laptop, before the virus laptop was conducting a backup.
Thank you.

Are your sure if your PC is clean.

Lets retrieve your documents and check your PC

Click the start button and type

cmd

right click -Select run as administrator

Now run this command

attrib -h c:\*.* /s /d

Allow it to run, ignore access denied messages

Let me know after this

Thank you, it's running now. Also, just to let you know. I contacted Dell and they sent me a reboot/recovery disk....so I did that, that's how I lost everything.

Ok, finishing running the command....

Did you get back your documents?

You may not need a recovery diskif you we can retrieve the documents and remove infections.

Final choice is yours

No, no docs came back. I don't know much about fixing computer and went into panic mode so I contacted Dell. The virsus took everything......I couldn't go anywhere when I hit start....that I had to contact Dell to reboot everything. I was hoping that the docs are still in the computer.

Any more suggestions?
