SONY vaio with SONY LCD hdmi cable issue

Hello,
I have followed the above steps now in my laptop >sound> hdmi device is enabled and default one also,
bUt still if i mute / increase the sound in laptop then it increases sound in TV.
So it seems in my case my laptop is still controller of sound.
Any help?
