Computer not reading my secon IDE hard drive

Hello,

I have a sata hard drive as primary drive on my computer, and i want to install my old IDE hard drive, as a slave to recover my documents, so im using the IDE TO SATA CONVERTER ADAPTER, to convert my IDE HARD DRIVE to sata.
but my computer is not recognizing the slave hard drive.

please any one who can help me !!!

I would set the drive jumpers to "Master" and see if that works.
