Programs Wont even Launch please help!

Hello,
I am running a Dell Inspiron 530s Computer With Vista on it
I installed Adobe CS3 and everything installed correctly, only problem is when i try to launch the programs to work in them. For example if i was to try and open Photoshop, a message would pop up saying Photoshop.exe is not working and it would check for solutions, simply tell me that windows would close the program, check for solutions and let me know if there was any, I dont know what to do at all would someone please help me!!
