Connect laptop to pc

Hello,
I need to connect my laptop to my desktop to access the internet on my laptop. I reinstalled my opperating system on laptop but some of the drivers weren't installed because of no internet connection. Unfortunately the drivers for the ethernet controller didn't get installed. I need internet connection to install these drivers but cannot connect because drivers are missing. Catch 22, need help please!

You can download the correct drivers on the working PC and then transfer them via a flash drive. After you copythem to the laptop you can install them.

Thank you I had thought of that but haven't tried. How do I find the correct driver for my hardware?

The manufacturer's web site normally has a "support" tab where you can search for and download the drivers.
