Hello,


in detail I want to know how to connect 2 or 3 or more laptops having os as windows7?and one more question is if I want t connect 3 laptops modem or some other devise is reqired and I need all this is to play nfs mostwanted thank you

To connect 3 computers you only need a "switch" to connect multiple computers and have internet access you need a "router" and a broadband modem.

Hi I connected 3 pc's to have internet with a hub and router. but how do I make them share files? I already have done the right click>sharing and security>share thing but still the other pc doesn't find it. please help me.

oh and I put in these ip adresses:
pc1: ip: 192.168.1.2
submask: 255.255.255.0
def gateway: 192.168.1.1

dns1: 192.168.1.1

pc2: ip: 192.168.1.3
submask: 255.255.255.0
def gateway: 192.168.1.1

dns1: 192.168.1.1

pc3: ip: 192.168.1.4

How to connect two systems through LAN.......?

I tried
IP address eg.. 192.168.0.1 subnetmask 255.255.255.0
and 2nd system 192.168.0.2 subnetmask 255.255.255.0

and in cmd prompt I entered ping 192.168.0.2
message I got is destination host unreachable

so what should I do
help me..............System Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.11
