Excel Logic

Hello,

I am trying to create a worksheet in excel that will allow me to add a certain amount if 2 conditions are met. So far I can only get it to add when one of the conditions have been met and would appreciate some help. What I have is the date in column 1, a winner in column 2, losers in column 3 and the amount in column 4. I want excel to go through the list of winners searching for a specific name, then I want it to search through the losers column for a different name, if both conditions are met on any given day, I would like it to add the amount in column 4. Can anyone help me with this problem?
