Hello,

I just finished formatting my pc using windows xp professional. the problem is majority driver already installed as I didn't install anything yet. It's like it didn't fully formatted. The driver already there but didn't function.

Only pci device, sm bus controller, and vga are not installed.
Please help me as I did try many ways to solve but it didn't work.

Thanks

You format hard drives. You don't format computers.
You install Operating Systems (Windows XP).
This is a common situation because the motherboard was probably manufactured after Windows XP was delivered. You should have received a driver disk with the motherboard. If you didn't you can download a free program called SlimDrivers that will find and install the latest drivers. Just Google SlimDrivers for a download location.

Good luck

thanks for the feedback xpcman.

i don't understand with 'you don't format computers'. i did reinstall the driver which so-called has earlier been installed. it works fine, but after that I experience my pc always hang and feels like it runs heavy.
